Anti Rodent GYFTY53 Direct Burial Cable 8 Core Single Mode Fiber Optic Cable
Description
The fibers are housed within a high modulus plastic loose tube, filled with a water-resistant compound. In
the core's center, a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP), possibly sheathed with polyethylene for high fiber count
cables, serves as a dielectric strength member. Tubes and fillers are arranged around this central member,
forming a compact, circular cable core. The cable core is protected from water ingress by water-blocking tape,
followed by the application of a thin PE inner sheath. Subsequently, the cable undergoes longitudinal PSP
application over the inner sheath and is finalized with a PE outer sheath.
