GYTA53 Outdoor Fiber Optic Direct Burial Cable Aluminum Tape Layer Loose Tube
Description
The fibers are housed in high modulus plastic tubes filled with a water-resistant compound. In the core's center,
a steel wire, sometimes covered in polyethylene (PE) for high-fiber-count cables, acts as a metallic strength m-
ember. These tubes, along with fillers, encircle the strength member, forming a compact, circular cable core. The
core is filled with the compound to shield it from water, then covered by a thin PE inner sheath. Following the
application of PSP (Polyethylene Terephthalate), the cable is finalized with a PE outer sheath.
Application
1 Tailored for outdoor deployment, ideal for various environmental conditions.
2 Versatile compatibility: suitable for aerial, duct, and direct burial installations.
3 Designed for both long-distance communication and local area network connectivity, offering flexibility for diverse
communication needs in outdoor settings.
Characteristic
1 Strong Mechanical & Temperature Performance: Demonstrates robustness in mechanical strength and res-
ilience across varying temperature ranges, ensuring reliable operation.
2 Hydrolysis-Resistant High-Strength Loose Tube: Incorporates a durable loose tube that's resistant to hydrolysis,
ensuring long-term protection for enclosed components.
3 Special Tube Filling Compound: Utilizes a specialized compound within the tube to provide crucial protection to
the fibers, enhancing their durability and performance.
4 Crush Resistance & Flexibility: Balances crush resistance with flexibility, allowing the cable to withstand pressure
without compromising its ability to bend and adapt during installation.
5 Watertight Design Measures: Ensures water resistance through multiple strategies, including:
6 Steel Wire Central Strength Member: Incorporates a steel wire as a central strength component to fortify the cab-
le's structural integrity.
7 Loose Tube Filling & 100% Cable Core Filling: Fills the loose tube and cable core completely with a filling compo-
und to prevent water ingress.
8 APL Moisture Barrier: Includes an APL (Aluminum-Polyethylene Laminate) moisture barrier to prevent moisture
penetration.
9 PSP Enhancing Moisture-Proof: Employs PSP (Polyethylene Terephthalate) for additional moisture resistance, rein-
forcing the cable's ability to resist water.
10 Water-Blocking Material: Utilizes a water-blocking material to ensure further protection against water infiltration, e-
nhancing the cable's overall watertightness.
