ADSS

 

Description

The cable features high modulus plastic tubes housing the fibers, filled with a water-resistant compound.

Surrounding this, a layer of Kevlar provides additional protection. A water-blocking material is applied between

the Kevlar yarn and the loose tube, ensuring a compact and waterproof structure. To finalize its design, the

cable is enveloped in a durable polyethylene (PE) sheath, safeguarding it against external elements.

 

Application

This specification outlines the general prerequisites for single jacket ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) cables

suitable for aerial or duct installations.
