Double Armored Double Sheathed Stranded Outdoor Optical Cable GYTA53
Description
The cable construction features fibers housed in a high-modulus plastic loose tube filled with a
water-resistant compound. A steel wire, sometimes sheathed with polyethylene for high fiber count
cables, serves as the metallic strength member at the core. Tubes and fillers are stranded around
this strength member to form a compact, circular cable core. This core is filled with a compound to
prevent water ingress, followed by a thin PE inner sheath. The cable is then reinforced with a
longitudinally applied PSP layer and completed with a PE outer sheath.
Application
* Outdoor Distribution Adaptation: Tailored for outdoor environments, this cable is designed to
withstand environmental challenges, ensuring reliable performance in outdoor distribution
scenarios.
* Versatile Installation Options: Compatible with multiple installation methods such as aerial
deployment, duct installation, and direct burial, providing flexibility in infrastructure planning.
* Ideal for Long-Distance and Local Area Network Communication: Engineered to meet the
demands of both long-distance communication and local area network setups, ensuring
effective and efficient data transmission over varying distances.
Characteristic
* Robust Mechanical and Temperature Performance: Ensures consistent functionality under
diverse mechanical stresses and temperature conditions.
* Hydrolysis-Resistant High-Strength Loose Tube: Features a high-strength loose tube resistant
to hydrolysis, ensuring prolonged cable durability.
* Specialized Tube Filling Compound for Fiber Protection: Utilizes a specialized filling compound
within the tube to provide crucial protection to the optical fibers.
* Crush Resistance and Flexibility: Balances crush resistance with flexibility, allowing for versatile
installations in various environments.
* Watertight Design Measures:
- Central Strength Member: Utilizes a steel wire as the central strength member.
- Cable Core Filling: Achieves 100% filling of the cable core with a compound to enhance watertight
integrity.
- APL Moisture Barrier: Applies an Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) as a moisture barrier.
- PSP Moisture-Proofing: Longitudinally applies Polyethylene (PSP) to enhance moisture-proofing.
- Water-Blocking Material: Incorporates water-blocking materials to further ensure protection against
water ingress.
